As a member of the Rivers State Tax Justice and Governance Platform, CHHELD participated in the public unveiling of the Power of Voices Partnerships – Fair for All Project Report (2021–2025), promoting fair and progressive taxation in Rivers State.
The report documents how sustained CSO collaboration, research, capacity building, advocacy, and media engagement helped amplify the voices of women, youth, persons with disabilities in the informal sector of the economy, who are disproportionately affected by illegal and multiple taxation.
This project was implemented by the Rivers Tax Justice and Governance Platform, anchored by CCADI with support from the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) and funded by Oxfam.
