CHHELD participated in a Validation Meeting for the Presentation of the Preliminary Findings on the “Empirical Review of Youth Employment Programmes/Policies in Nigeria. Organized by Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP). 7th September 2022.

The Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) is an international non-profit organization that links researchers globally to enhance local capacity for policy analysis in developing countries. The purpose of the meeting is to harness the  thoughts/views and validate the findings of the research. Also Presentation of the Preliminary Findings on the “Empirical Review of Youth Employment Programmes/Policies in Nigeria.

PEP’s unique research support program empowers local experts to achieve the highest international standards of scientific quality, while building productive relationships with decision-makers at home.

PEP has provided technical and financial supports to a Nigerian team to research on the “Empirical Review of Youth Employment Programmes/Policies in Nigeria”.

The team conducted focus group discussions (FGDs) and key informant interviews (KIIs) with relevant stakeholders in Nigeria of which the executive director of CHHELD was one of the stake holders interviewed and so participated in the data collection for this project.

As part of its dissemination strategy and policy engagement PEP organized a validation meeting to harness the  thoughts/views and validate the findings of the research.

The program saw participants from government MNDA, civil society organisations and media in attendance.
